News The Best Google Adsense Alternatives for Bloggers 2019

New the best Google Adsense alternatives for bloggers 2019. One of the easiest ways to start monetizing your brand new blog is through advertising. Google Adsense is no doubt the most well known and trusted advertising networks out there but is it necessarily the best?

Today I am looking at some Google Adsense Alternatives to consider when choosing your advertising service provider.

Why you should switch from Google Adsense

Google Adsense pays very little to its publishers. The average CPM is only around $1 per 1000 impressions so that means you would need to have 100 000 page views before you reach the $100 minimum payout.

They also take months to actually get paid. What I dislike most is that it’s near impossible to get in touch with a real person. Also, I have read reports of people getting their Google Adsense account banned for no reason with no hope to ever recover that account.

Google Adsense also has quite a strict and confusing approval process. And lastly, I just dislike the way their ads look. Often times they come off as spammy and make your website load slower. I have found tons of Google Adsense ads which don’t match the content on the page at all and are completely random.

News The Best Google Adsense Alternatives 2019

Media.net

Media.net is the #2 largest contextual ads network in the world. They are by far my favorite Google Adsense Alternatives. Media.net has very low traffic requirement and they approve almost everyone so this one is perfect for the new blogger who is just looking to get into running ads on their blog.

Media.net has an average of 2 days approval process for new accounts so no long waiting times here!

You can create your own ad unit with Media.net and choose the exact size you want to display on your site.

My favorite part about Media.net is that once you get approved as a publisher they assign an account manager for you. Basically what they do is help you out with optimizing the ads and making sure the ads are working for your site. They also offer tips on how to increase your Ad income. I feel this is a huge advantage over Adsense as you are talking with an actual person whos’ goal is to maximize your ad income.

Chitika is a contextual ad network which means it analyzes the content on your site and suggests adds related to your content. That can help you maximize your income from the network as it only shows ads your readers are actually interested in.

Chitika has a very low minimum traffic requirement and accepts pretty much anyone who applies.
The best part about Chitika is the low $10 minimum payout which means you can get paid very quickly.

Amazon Associates

Amazon Associaties
Amazon Associaties

While Amazon isn’t really an Ad Network as they don’t have a pay-per-click or a CPM program, they do give you a small commision whenever someone clicks through to Amazon from one of your links and makes a purchase.

This is great because so many people already buy frequently from Amazon anyway. Amazon sells anything from toilet paper to laptops. The chances of someone clicking on your link and making a purchase is very high and even though the commission is small, it can really add up quickly.

You can include ads promoting different products from Amazon on pretty much any page of your blog in hopes of someone clicking on it and making a purchase.

Propeller Ads

Propeller Ads is an advertising network founded in 2011. Since then they have grown to 5000+ happy publishers and 700 million ad impressions per day ! Propeller ads offers great CPMs and they mainly focus on monetizing websites in the following niches:
  • movies/videos
  • games
  • finance
  • gambling
  • and entertainment.
Propeller ads are also great for people in countries that are notoriously hard to monetize traffic from like Germany, Turkey, India, Asia and South Africa.

Adbuff

One of the fastest growing advertising networks and a great Google Adsense Alternative. The approval for Adbuff is quite strict and they only approve English sites with the majority of the traffic coming from USA, Canada UK and Australia. Minimum 2000 pageviews per day is needed before applying.
They also offer a $25 sign up bonus for any new publishers who sign up and get approved.
Adbuff has a minimum $100 payout.

Mediavine

Mediavine is widely known as one of the best ad management networks out there. The only downfall with them is the quite high joining requirement which is 25000 sessions per month. What I love about Mediavine is that the people who created the company still own their own websites and blogs and test all the ads on their own sites before approving the ads.

This ensures only the very best of ads are accepted. If you ever look at a blog or a website who uses Mediavine ads you will notice how they kind of blend into the site and look beautiful.

In Conclusion

These are my favorite Google Adsense alternatives. Hope these Ad networks give you hope if your Adsense account got blocked or you are just sick of the low pay they offer!

I personally can’t wait to apply to join Mediavine as soon as I reach 25000 sessions per month.  I do understand that amount of traffic can take a long time to reach so until then I suggest you sign up with one of the above-suggested ad networks. Having a good amount of traffic is super important when joining any advertising network.

Are there any other great Google Adsense alternatives I may have missed? Let me know and I may add them to this list ! Until then, I hope you start making some serious ad income using these networks!
